ABOUT THE RESIDENCY

Dance Heginbotham brought a mixture of athleticism, humor, and theatricality to their work with communities in Indonesia, Laos, and the Philippines. In Laos, the group led workshops at the Disabled Women Development Center, and met and danced with b-boys and b-girls. They traveled to the Philippines and led dance and music classes for high-schoolers and college students. And in Indonesia, they participated in a joint performance with local dancers amidst a rainstorm of epic proportions.
